Softball Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-Valley can now relate to. They came up short against the Tolono Unity Rockets on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Vikings were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matchups prior), but the Rockets' pitchers proved too tough.

Tri-Valley moved to 20-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Tolono Unity, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-7.
