Baseball Recap: Trinity Prep Victorious

After losing to The Villages Charter the last time they met, Trinity Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints came out on top against the Buffalo by a score of 5-2 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Jacob Gilmer was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Brady, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Trinity Prep's record now sits at 4-10. As for The Villages Charter, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Trinity Prep will square off against Orlando Christian Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Villages Charter, they will take on Cornerstone Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
