League recap: Inderkum extends winning streak with victory over Lincoln

Tri-County Conference recap November 19, 2013

Inderkum extended the longest winning streak in Tri-County Conference this week by beating Lincoln, 49-19. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

River Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 380 from 439 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Falcons were able to move up by falling to Del Oro 63-9.

Omar Herrera was a beast in the backfield as Yuba City bested St. Mary's.

Herrera provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Honkers beat the Rams. Herrera's favorite target this week was Austin Thompson, who caught 3 passes for 71 yards.

C. J. Spencer put up the best numbers through the air as Inderkum defeated the Fighting Zebras. He finished with a total of 5 completions for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns. Spencer's favorite target this week was Khalil Hudson, who caught 2 passes for 69 yards.

Terry Stark's team's Spencer and Hudson have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Spencer has thrown for 1,314 yards this season, while Hudson has 29 catches for 652 yards. River Valley's TJ Dove leads the league in rushing yards with 1,555.

Bill Sherman's team fell to the Golden Eagles 63-9 last week, the largest margin of any game.
