Basketball Recap: South Wasco County Takes a Loss

South Wasco County was the 51-19 winner over Powers when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the South Wasco County Redsides and the Powers Cruisers didn't end well, with the South Wasco County Redsides falling 54-36. The matchup marked the Redsides' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for South Wasco County and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Powers, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

When South Wasco County and Powers next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South Wasco County will try to stop Country Christian's six-game winning streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Powers will challenge Toledo and their four-game winning streak at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
