Football Recap: North Gwinnett Bulldogs vs. Peachtree Ridge Lions
North Gwinnett put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Peachtree Ridge Lions 44-22. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Lions are ranked 60th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Peachtree Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Darnell Kelly, who threw for 234 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 83 yards. Those 83 rushing yards gave Kelly a new career-high. 95 of those passing yards were hauled in by Kobe Adeleke-Hokes.
North Gwinnett pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Peachtree Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
