Open Door Christian won the last time they faced Lake Ridge Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Open Door Christian Patriots blew past the Lake Ridge Academy Royals 53-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Patriots have posted since November 25, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Lake Ridge Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kathryn Krueger posted seven points along with six boards and four steals. Arielle Kluth also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Open Door Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.
