Sheldon extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Nathan Sheley. The Sheldon Irish came out on top against the South Eugene Axe by a score of 61-49 on Tuesday thanks in part to Sheley, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points along with five boards and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Eli Forsha, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Sheldon is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for South Eugene, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
