Softball Recap: Robinson Maroons vs. Mattoon Greenwave

Robinson won against Mt. Carmel last Thursday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Maroons' way against the Mattoon Greenwave as they made off with a 14-2 win. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Maroons this season.

The team relied heavily on Mallory Mosbey, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brylee Yates, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
