Cromwell hadn't done well against Coginchaug Regional recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers blew past the Blue Devils 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Cromwell never let Coginchaug Regional on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-18.

Victoria Narwot paced Cromwell's offense, picking up nine kills. Narwot got some help from Isabella Davis and her 16 assists. Narwot was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Defeat or not, Coginchaug Regional got some senior leadership from Addison Costa and Jenny Zaclli. Costa had 12 kills, ten digs, five aces, and three blocks, while Zaclli had 13 digs and two aces. Zaclli is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Cromwell's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Coginchaug Regional, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Cromwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Morgan on the 3rd. Coginchaug Regional has also already played their next matchup (against North Branford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
