Soccer Game Preview: Whitney vs. Del Oro

The Whitney Wildcats will head out to face off against the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Whitney's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Rocklin.

Adrian Serrano Martin and Dante Dukes scored both of Whitney's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Del Oro and Granite Bay finished up their game with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

With that draw, Del Oro's record moves to 6-4-2. As for Whitney, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-6.

Whitney was able to grind out a solid victory over Del Oro when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitney since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
