Basketball Recap: Arnett Piles Up the Points Against Erick

Arnett came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Erick Bearcats to the tune of 60-4. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Bearcats are ranked 344th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arnett's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points over those games. As for Erick, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

As of now, neither Arnett nor Erick have any future games scheduled.
