Tri-West Hendricks had won seven straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 12-3 to make it eight. They had just enough and edged out the Frankfort Hot Dogs 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 on Tuesday.

Luke Haboush looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tri-West Hendricks' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cole Keller, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

As for Frankfort, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

On Frankfort's side, Alex Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.

Looking ahead, Tri-West Hendricks will square off against Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Frankfort, they will face off against Western at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
