Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hillsboro Christian Academy lost against Wilmington Christian Academy on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crusaders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blazers.

Scarlett Perkins paced Hillsboro Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Perkins got some help from Alanna Stoltzfus and her six assists. Zayla Bourne controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Hillsboro Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dominion Academy on the 13th. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mars Hill Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
