Baseball Recap: Fort Bend Willowridge Takes a Loss

Fort Bend Willowridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 19-9 to the Royal Falcons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Tylon Rydolf was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Royce Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Rydolf wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Fort Bend Willowridge lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Fort Bend Willowridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Royal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1.
