Volleyball Recap: Somerset College Prepartory Academy South Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Somerset College Prepartory Academy South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mater Bay Academy Rays on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Patriots were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Rays, so the Patriots were just returning the favor.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-13.

Makayla Cordova paced Somerset College Prepartory Academy South's offense, picking up nine kills. Cordova got some help from Alyza Hernandez and her 18 assists. Cordova also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mia Perez, racking up three apiece.
