Volleyball Game Preview: Independence 76ers vs. Evergreen Valley Cougars

The Independence 76ers will face off against the Evergreen Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Independence came up short against Santa Teresa and fell 3-1.

While Independence had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 18-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Piedmont Hills by a score of 3-1. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Evergreen Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
