After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paris, North Lamar was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mount Vernon Tigers by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for North Lamar: when they faced off against Mount Vernon back in February, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Cade Wolfe and Israel Quezada scored both of North Lamar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

North Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Mount Vernon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coincidentally, North Lamar and Mount Vernon will both be playing Pleasant Grove the next time they take the pitch. The Tigers will host the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
