Baseball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Fort Scott, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.
