Softball Recap: Quitman Wins Going Away Against Cooper

Quitman's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against Cooper as Quitman made off with a 13-1 win. Quitman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by six runs or more this season.

Quitman's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Cooper, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Quitman will square off against Mineola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cooper, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-5 loss against Commerce on the 1st.
