Plattsmouth and Arlington are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Blue Devils will head out to take on the Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Plattsmouth and eight for Arlington.

On Friday, Plattsmouth had to suffer through a 62-21 loss at the hands of Concordia. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Arlington played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Conestoga, falling 73-53. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-19.

Plattsmouth will have to contain Oliver Ladehoff as he made an impact in Arlington's last game. He shot 50% from the field on his way to 18 points. Luke Sharp was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Plattsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Plattsmouth couldn't quite get it done against Arlington in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 as they fell 49-36. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
