Softball Recap: Herscher Triumphs

While Herscher's win against Dwight wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Trojans 3-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lilly Tucek spent all 11 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, RyLyn Adams was incredible, going 3-for-6 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Herscher's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Dwight, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Herscher has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Peotone on the 12th. As for Dwight, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-6 defeat against Lexington on the 10th.
