Basketball Recap: Christian Academy of Madison Takes a Loss

Christian Academy of Madison lost against Tabernacle Christian back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Christian Academy of Madison Defenders took a 51-32 bruising from the Tabernacle Christian Eagles. The Defenders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tabernacle Christian found their leader in sophomore Liz Southerland, who posted 29 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Southerland has scored at least a third of Tabernacle Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Adams, who put up eight points.

Christian Academy of Madison's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Tabernacle Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Academy of Madison will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Tabernacle Christian, they will welcome Colonial Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
