Football Recap: Lake Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Park played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 35-14 to the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers. The game marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed eight in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kendan Ratini, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Owen Yorke continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wheaton-Warrenville South, rushing for 204 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Yorke's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 172 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Justin Miller, who threw for 89 yards and a pair of TDs.

Lake Park has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.
