In what's become a running theme this season, the Berean Academy Eagle gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Oakwood Christian as Berean Academy made off with a 58-35 win. Berean Academy's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Berean Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cody Stansifer led the charge by scoring ten points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Stansifer pulled down eight or more rebounds. Barret Hasley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Berean Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Oakwood Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berean Academy will take on Cedar View Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar View Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 390th, while Berean Academy is ranked 194th). As for Oakwood Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Unity Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
