Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mason). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eastern Quakers a 24-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Gerrit Koot made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Logan Davis was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kohlton Tyrrell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
