Basketball Recap: Mount Calvary Christian's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mount Calvary Christian had won two straight games and Josiah Masters did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Mount Calvary Christian Chargers enjoyed a cozy 45-30 victory over Covenant Christian Academy thanks in part to Masters, who went 9 for 15 en route to 20 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points.

Another player making a difference was Isaiah Butler, who posted two points and six steals. Those six steals gave him a new career-high.

Mount Calvary Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Mount Calvary Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-47 victory against Harrisburg Christian on the 30th. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-22 defeat against Dayspring Christian Academy on the 31st.
