Miguel Rosa and Adam Hussien secure win for Swenson Arts & Tech

The Swenson Arts & Tech Lion waltzed into their contest Monday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Franklin Learning Center 63-46. Given Swenson Arts & Tech's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Franklin Learning Center is ranked 685th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Swenson Arts & Tech was led to victory by Miguel Rosa and Adam Hussien . Rosa scored 21 points, while Hussien scored 19 points. The game was Rosa's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Eli Charles was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Swenson Arts & Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Franklin Learning Center, they have fallen quite a ways from their 14-7 record last season and are now at 0-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swenson Arts & Tech is on the road again on Thursday and play against KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy at 3:15 p.m. on December 21st. KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Franklin Learning Center won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Prep Charter at 3:15 p.m. on December 19th. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Prep Charter and six for Franklin Learning Center dating back to last season.
