Recap: Timber Creek Falcons vs. Trinity Trojans
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Timber Creek Falcons can now relate to. They were beaten by Trinity 63-35 on Friday. Timber Creek's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Dozie Ezukanma and Carson Porter certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Ezukanma picked up 190 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Porter threw for 403 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Ezukanma is on a roll when it comes to receiving yards, as he's now posted 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Timber Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Timber Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Midland Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Midland Legacy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
