Softball Recap: Charleston Math & Science Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Charleston Math & Science's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Pinewood Prep Panthers on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Riptide's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Charleston Math & Science's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8-1. As for Pinewood Prep, their record now sits at 23-0.

Charleston Math & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pinewood Prep, they will take on Palmetto Scholars Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Phoenix have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
