Baseball Recap: Dobyns-Bennett Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Dobyns-Bennett proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Unicoi County Blue Devils. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Dobyns-Bennett's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Unicoi County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
