Baseball Recap: Humble Takes a Loss

Humble fell victim to Summer Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Humble dropped their record down to 8-17-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Summer Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Humble is set to take on their familiar foe Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Summer Creek will square off against rival Kingwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3, the Mustangs 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
