ALA - West Foothills entered their tilt with Yuma Catholic on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Shamrocks by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Guardians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 15-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Yuma Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Audrina Payan had 13 digs and three aces. Bella Koehl also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

ALA - West Foothills' victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Yuma Catholic, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 22-2 record.

ALA - West Foothills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Seton Catholic on the 15th. As for Yuma Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kingman on the 15th.
