Soccer Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Brandon Bulldogs, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly seven goals.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Brandon, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-6-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Meridian challenge the Northwest Rankin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Rankin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Brandon, they will be playing at home against Pearl at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
