Baseball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Knights vs. Borrego Springs Rams
Victory Christian Academy and Borrego Springs squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Victory Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 15-7 to the Borrego Springs Rams. Victory Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Borrego Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.
Nicholas Bulatao made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
On Borrego Springs' side, Chris Alcaraz was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Alejandro Morales was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Borrego Springs, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.
