Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside lost against Jones back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14.

Maia Khetani paced Northside's offense, picking up four kills. Khetani got some help from Lily Fisher and her four assists. Finally, Stella Paleologos kept Northside's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Northside now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Jones, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

Northside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Amundsen on the 28th. As for Jones, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Lane Tech on the 22nd.
