Basketball Recap: Klein Forest Comes Up Short

Klein Forest was the 42-34 winner over Spring when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Tuesday.

Jaylan Tran went supernova For Spring., dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Tran a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Beal, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Klein Forest's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Spring, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Klein Forest will square off against Foster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring, they will face off against Cypress Park at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
