Volleyball Recap: Germantown Starts off Right with Win over West Harrison

Germantown took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the West Harrison Hurricanes by a score of 2-0.

While Germantown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12.

West Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Germantown and West Harrison will both be playing Sumrall the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Bobcats on Friday, while the Mavericks will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
