Basketball Game Preview: Byron Bears vs. Stewartville Tigers

Byron is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Stewartville is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Byron Bears will host the Stewartville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Byron knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matches -- so hopefully Stewartville likes a good challenge.

Byron is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They breezed past Winona to the tune of 89-48. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Stewartville strolled past Faribault with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 67-53.

Byron has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.5 points over those games. Stewartville's victory bumped their record up to 22-6.
