Basketball Recap: Sienna Stilley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hanover Central over Lowell

Hanover Central lost against Lowell back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between the Wildcats and the Red Devils didn't end well, with the Wildcats falling 52-38.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sienna Stilley, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. Stilley is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kaydence Beach, who put up nine points.

Hanover Central's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lowell, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanover Central will take on Kouts at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' defense better be ready for this one: the Mustangs & Fillies have averaged an impressive 57.1 points per game this season. As for Lowell, they will welcome Crown Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
