Softball Recap: Kalaheo Comes Up Short

Kalaheo fell victim to Kailua and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Surfriders. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Surfriders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Kalaheo's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kailua, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Kalaheo will square off against Pearl City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games. As for Kailua, they will challenge Farrington at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Governors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19 runs per game on average), something the Surfriders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
