Basketball Recap: Twinfield Triumphs

Twinfield won the last time they faced Twin Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Twinfield Trojans walked away with a 53-46 victory over the Twin Valley Wildcats.

Despite the defeat, Twin Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brayden Brown almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine boards. Brown has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Steve Oyer was another key player, putting up five points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

The win got Twinfield back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Twinfield and Twin Valley will both be playing Poultney the next time they take the court. Twinfield will head out to face Poultney at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Twin Valley will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
