Volleyball Recap: Pace Beats Milton for Their Third Straight Win

Pace entered their tilt with Milton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pace's got stronger as the match went on, holding Milton to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7, 25-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pace to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liv Riffell, who had eight digs and five aces. With that strong performance, Riffell is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Riffell wasn't the only good server: Pace was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in three consecutive matches.

Pace now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Milton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Pace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Tate on the 11th. As for Milton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Escambia on the 16th.
