Princeton had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt North Knox on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 7-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Jarrett Kinder was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kinder was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryne Wilhite, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Quinn Bush also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Princeton's record now sits at 4-1. As for North Knox, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Princeton has already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Pike Central on the 12th. As for North Knox, they will face off against Bloomfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
