Football Recap: South Holt Comes Up Short

South Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The game between the Knights and East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] didn't end well, with the Knights falling 38-20. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 54-35 to East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Holt's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Holt is set to square off against their familiar foe DeKalb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] will take on rival Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
