After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mansfield Christian, Shaw was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the McKinley Bulldogs 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Shaw, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Angelani Mlondani and Tantine (Jay) Nyhiramahirwe scored both of Shaw's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Shaw's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for McKinley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Shaw will head out to square off against West Geauga at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
