Basketball Game Preview: West Central Trojans vs. Lennox Orioles

The West Central Trojans will take on the Lennox Orioles at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with West Central sitting on eight straight victories and Lennox on 12.

West Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Hanson 91-47. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lennox beat Mobridge-Pollock 58-51 on Tuesday. Given the Orioles' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Tigers are ranked 37th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Central's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Lennox, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
