Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vernon). They walked away with a 63-55 victory over the Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks on Saturday. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 59-56 win the Blue Streaks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The victory got Vernon back to even at 2-2. As for Warren Hills Regional, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Vernon will be taking part in a tournament against West Morris Mendham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren Hills Regional will take on Phillipsburg in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Warren Hills Regional's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
