Preview: Tate vs. Pace
Tate will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Pace at 7:00 PM. With a combined 908 yards in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced contest.
Tate might have drawn first blood against Escambia last Friday, but it was Escambia who got the last laugh. Tate were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 32-37 to Escambia. A silver lining for Tate was the play of senior Hunter Riggan, who picked up 153 yards on the ground and accumulated 200 passing yards. That makes it seven straight good games in a row from Riggan.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Pace weren't quite Gulf Breeze's equal in the second half when they met. Pace fell just short of Gulf Breeze by a score of 42-45. It was a tough break for Pace, who improved upon an already decent score from three weeks ago but lost both times.
