Basketball Recap: Eek Falls to Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial in First Game of Season

Eek unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

Eek lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Chloe Petluska, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Waltina Petluska, who put up 11 points.

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial's win bumped their record up to 2-5.
