The Tyler Knights''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took down Doddridge County 27-13. For Tyler, this counts as revenge for the 20-12 defeat Doddridge County walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.
Doddridge County's loss came despite strong showings from Landon Thomas and Brandon Hileman. Thomas picked up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Hileman rushed for 97 yards.
Tyler's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Doddridge County, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Tyler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Doddridge County also has no future games currently scheduled.
